Day raises £1,450 for MND charity

Dewsbury Rams is extremely proud of hooker Sam Day who has raised a fantastic £1,450 for the MND Association.

With the news of Rugby League and Leeds legend Rob Burrow having being diagnosed with MND within the last year. The sport has rallied around Rob and plenty of fundraising for the charity has already happened.

However our very own Sam Day decided to run a marathon and finished in a time of 3 hours and 38 minutes.

He has raised a superb £1,450 for the charity.

As well as Sam running the marathon he also had help from former players Matty Wildie and Matthew Tebb. They ran part of the marathon with Sam and were a fantastic support network for him too a long the way, so a big well done to those two too.

As a club we are extremely proud of Sam’s achievements.

Well done again Sam
