Dewsbury Rams Club Chaplain Cliff Allchin is inviting supporters to share their own short tributes to Jack Addy.
They will be used as part of a thanksgiving service, which will be held on Monday 8 June at Dewsbury Crematorium.
Cliff said: “As chaplain of Dewsbury Rams it is my privilege to conduct the thanksgiving service for Jack Addy.
“As part of the service I would like to put together a series of short, one sentence tributes to him from the people who had shared such an important part of his life for so many years.
“You can share them on the Amber Ribbon Facebook page or send them by email to cliff.allchin@salvationarmy.org.uk.
“They will be needed by lunchtime on Friday 5 June so that I can collate them over the weekend. Thank you.”
