Whitehaven cup preview

Dewsbury Rams will this weekend take on Whitehaven in the fourth round of the Coral Challenge Cup.

The Rams are coming off the back of an impressive win away at Halifax last Tuesday evening and head coach Lee Greenwood will be hoping that, that form and performance carries on into this weekend.

Meanwhile Whitehaven will be hoping just to get off of the mark with a victory as so far they have lost all three of their Championship games.

It should be a wet, windy and all together hard game up in Cumbria this weekend.

HEAD COACH COMMENTS

Lee Greenwood said on the upcoming fixture: “There will be some lads playing we haven’t seen much of yet, we haven’t got the biggest squad but I want to see everyone putting their hand up to play.

“The lads who have played against Halifax did that, but there are other lads who are chomping at the bit and training well, we’ll see who needs to come in.”
