Rhinos run development camp at Rams stadium

Dewsbury Rams can reveal that Betfred Super League side Leeds Rhinos Foundation will now be hosting their Development camp on 21st February at the Tetley’s Stadium.

The link to the Rhinos camp is as follows: https://tickets.therhinos.co.uk/PagesPublic/ProductBrowse/ProductEvent.aspx?ProductSubType=ELRC&soalready=RDhOMR1/e7wk5PptVSbFJupx8LZHQpaayLH0V7PJe8E=

Also on the day our very own Martyn Reilly will be helping out, Reilly has been instrumental in helping to set up and run our very own Monday night Rampage Camp. He ran the club with teammate Kyle Trout last year, however with Trout departing for pastures new at Hull KR, current player Luke Nelmes has stepped up well to fill Trout’s boots in helping to run the sessions during the 2020 season.

We are proud to be involved and helping Leeds Rhinos out. With the weather affecting the Leeds Rhinos original venue for the camp we are delighted that we could step in to help give the juniors a day still to remember.

On the Rams hosting the event, Leeds Rhinos Dan Busfield Head of Partnerships said: “We would like to thank Chairman Mark Sawyer and Martyn Reilly for their support in ensuring young people don’t miss out on a fantastic development opportunity. We are delighted that first team Dewsbury player Martyn will be present and joining our development team on the day.”

Rams player Martyn Reilly said: “I am really looking foward to working along side the Leeds rhinos foundation.

“When Dan contacted me about running the event at Dewsbury and us working along side him we jumped at the chance!

“This is a unique event for us as a foundation and the first time we have been involved in this! It just goes to show that all the hard work we have put in, in the last few years is paying off with a club like Leeds Rhinos asking us to work alongside them and wanting to use our great facilities!”
