It was a successful day at Dewsbury Rams yesterday as the club beat Bradford Bulls 25-12 in the club’s last pre-season friendly before the big kick off on the 31st of January against Leigh Centurions.
The club managed to sell out the pre-match corporate hospitality area where guests had a full three course meal.
Rams guests included club sponsors and partners, and community partners too as Dewsbury Street Kitchen, Fusion and Resource were all represented at the pre-match meal. Club sponsors YBS, Fleetmaster, Pension Boost and Dean Austerfield Flooring were also represented.
Also attending the match was the new local conservative MP Mark Eastwood.
On attending the game Eastwood said: “It is an integral part of the community is this club, with the sports facilities here for all to use, it’s a fantastic place and I would like to thank the finance director Andrew Farrow and chairman Mark Sawyer for inviting me to come to the game.”
