Stadium announcement regarding smoking rule changes.

Dewsbury Rams would like to advise all supporters (both home and away) that smoking is no longer allowed in either of the two covered stands.

The decision to ban smoking altogether has been taken as the result of a number of requests that the club has received over the past 12 months and to clarify any doubt over the current legislation and how it affects our club.

Smoking will still be allowed on the open terrace but we ask all supporters to be considerate of those around them should they choose to smoke.

Supporters in the main stand who would like to smoke are asked to do so in the tarmac areas at either end of the stand and supporters in the covered terrace (South Stand) are asked to smoke on the open concourse at the back of the stand adjacent to the perimeter fence.

Our stewarding provider has been made aware of the change and will be asked to police this accordingly.

The same rule applies to home games for both Dewsbury Rams and Bradford Bulls.

The areas will be clearly marked with the appropriate signage in due course although this may not be in place for Sunday’s friendly but the intention is to have it signposted for the Leigh game.
