Dewsbury Rams can announce that we will be playing a pre-season friendly against League 1 side Keighley Cougars on January 12th.
The game will kick off at 3pm and will be played at the home of Keighley Cougars, Cougar Park.
It’s the third pre-season friendly that we have announced for head coach Lee Greenwood’s side. The first will take place on boxing day against Batley Bulldogs, the second will be away at Keighley Cougars on the 12th January and the third will take place on the 19th January at the Tetley’s Stadium against the Bradford Bulls.
Prices for all three games will be released at a later date.
Head coach Lee Greenwood said: “Keighley will provide us with a real test. I was conscious of not playing another team from the Championship but also wanted a meaningful game. I can see what Rhys Lovegrove is trying to do with the Cougars and I think this game will be beneficial to both of us.”
