Reilly Signs New Deal at Rams

Dewsbury Rams can confirm that popular squad member Martyn Reilly has signed a new one year deal at the club.

The front-rower suffered a bad injury whilst at the club, but last season he eventually came back to make a full recovery and play a vital part in the final few months of the 2019 campaign.

Reilly has made strides both on and off the pitch as he has become a real shining light with his community work with the Rams last season. Both him and former player Kyle Trout did a superb job in running the Monday night scheme of the Rampage club. Reilly also expertly helped to put together the club’s Rampage Camp which ran for three days earlier this year.

At the awards night Reilly won the Amber Ribbon’s player of the year award alongside Trout for their fantastic work in the community and performance s on the pitch.

Reilly is once again signed up for the 2020 season and will once again be a major influence off the field as the club looks to continue it’s superb work in the community.

On the 23 year old signing for the club head coach Lee Greenwood said: “Martyn had already impressed me before his return from injury with his attitude and commitment.

“I had come across him before and I know he’s a likable character, his work with the Rampage club alongside Kyle Trout this year has been fantastic and a big positive for the club and the local juniors.

“Since his playing comeback, he has worked hard at his game and he’s the type of person I like to coach, honest, hard-working and willing to improve his game.”

If you want to see Reilly in action next season then why not buy a Rams 2020 season ticket?
