Dewsbury Rams were narrowly beaten by fellow Championship side Featherstone Rovers as a drop goal kick by Dane Chisholm separated the two sides.
The Rams battled hard but in the end it was the Rovers who came up with the goods, the Rams head to Batley next weekend.
