Greenwood expects tough test against Eagles

Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood insists his side will do all it can to win over the tough test awaiting them in the form of the Sheffield Eagles.

The Rams take on the Eagles on Sunday and whilst Greenwood knows the steel city club are on a good run of form at the moment, he says his side is ready and waiting to take the two points.

He said: “There are quite a few lads who have played for Dewsbury before and they’ll be wanting to show that they have possibly gone on to bigger and better things.

“We should have got more points out of the first four games, we didn’t deserve anything at Halifax. However if those figures carry on where we are performing and deserve something out of four of the five fixtures then it will be good and we’ll be happy with it. That is up to us and we want to be really competitive and give everyone a challenge.

“They are full of confidence and have threats everywhere which we will need to deal with, they are a good side.

“they have got some experience in there but so do we and with that experience mixed with the young loan lads we want to challenge them definitely.

“We are going in to every game hoping to win it and wanting to win it.”
