Dewsbury Rams new signing Andy Gabriel has been selected in the League 1 team of the year.
Gabriel has had a fantastic year with the Keighley Cougars and eventually turned out to be the club’s top try scorer.
The 25 year old has signed a contract to be at the Rams for the 2019 campaign.
He recently told the website of his excitement in joining the club.
He said: “I’m excited to make the step up it is what I have been pushing for.
“I have been at Keighley for three years and every year I think I have stepped up. I have learnt a lot from different people at the club. Confidence has always been a big thing and I think every year I have just grown in confidence.
“I have grown as a player, playing in that league.
“Dewsbury was the ideal club for me to come to. Obviously it helps that I have played with Adam Ryder before and been coached under Mitch.
“They spoke well of the club and I know it will be a good move for me.”
Everyone at the Rams is delighted for Gabriel making it into the League 1 team of the year.
