Rams snap up local talent ahead of Toulouse trip

Dewsbury Rams have signed Brad Delaney and Tobias Richardson in time for tomorrow’s match away at Toulouse.

The pair have joined the club on a short-term deal and have been named in head coach Neil Kelly’s 19-man squad for the trip to France.

Half-back Delaney previously featured for the Rams in 2014 and 2015 and was a Reserves Championship winner during his time with the club.

He is a former Dewsbury Moor junior and the son of Rams assistant boss Paul Delaney.

Delaney played for Coventry Bears in their win over Keighley Cougars last weekend. He has also enjoyed spells with Doncaster, York City Knights and Hemel Stags.

Richardson is a forward who has been a stand-out performer for Dewsbury Moor this season in National Conference League Division Two.

He has earned international honours at community level and is a former Yorkshire under-17s representative.
