Match Report

Barry Eaton could make a shock return to the Keighley Cougars line up when Keighley host title-chasing Dewsbury Rams on Thursday night.

Keighley coach Eaton, who has not played a first team game in 2009, is considering throwing himself into the deep end against the unbeaten Rams.

Eaton said: "I'm definitely in the reckoning. I'm in the squad and I'm seriously considering myself but I probably won't make a decision until the day itself."

Dewsbury will win the Co-operative Championship One title should they claim three points from their trip to Cougar Park.

Eaton added: "It's actually worked out as a really pivotal game for them. It's our home live TV game and they can win the league if they come here and win. It's certainly building up to a fantastic occasion.

"We've not been talking too much about what Dewsbury can get out of the game. We've been focussing on our outcomes and how we can go about our business.

"We've had lots of ups and downs in terms of injuries but I don't think it's any coincidence that we've been travelling particularly well now we've got just about all of our squad back available."

Only Craig Brown is unavailable for the Cougars, while Rams coach Warren Jowitt has a full strength squad apart from Austin Buchanan (knee).

Jowitt said: "It's the same message as last week for us; it's just about getting the job done. That's our primary focus.

"Keighley are second in the table and playing well so it's got all the ingredients of a really good game."
