The fully licensed and staffed bar is readily available to all customers, providing a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments at competitive rates. The stage area at the foot of the room is easily large enough to accommodate an overhead projector, dance floor, DJ equipment or a band.

This page provides merely a taster of the first class event accommodation the Royal Suite presents. If you'd like to experience it first hand, we invite you to drop by and see what we have to offer.

Room hire charges include, if required:

The room will also be set up as per your requirements ready for the arrival of your guests. This includes table arrangement and buffet (if required).

We offer a generous selection of house wines at competitive prices. Should you wish to use your own wine, a corkage charge of £5 + vat per bottle will be made.

Both our function rooms are hired on a "session to session" basis, it costs £150 + vat to hire the Royal suite for one session.

The Bailey Bar is a cosy, pub-style lounge which is ideal for smaller meetings and parties. It's clever design allows for a great atmosphere both when at capacity and when there are fewer people.

Both our function rooms are hired on a "session to session" basis, It costs just £115 + vat to hire the Bailey Bar for one session.

Daytime session: 9.00am - 5.00pm
Evening session: 7.00pm - 12.00am

Do you accept bookings for 18th birthday parties.

Yes.
With a £200 deposit.

Do you accept children's parties?

Unfortunately we are unable to accept bookings for children's parties, including Christenings.

Do you provide catering?

For daytime weekday functions we are able to offer an excellent catering service, ranging from breakfast sandwiches for early meetings through to full buffets.

For evening or weekend functions we are unable to offer our catering service but we can recommend a trusted caterer for you.

Can I provide my own catering?

Yes, for all functions clients are welcome to provide their own catering or hire their own caterer, on certain conditions. We ask that all food and disposables be cleared away afterwards. Also, due to health and safety restrictions our kitchens are not available for use.

Do you provide a DJ?

We can recommend a DJ for you to book directly with or you are also welcome to use your own DJ if you wish.

Can I bring special entertainment such as a rodeo bull?

We have found from previous enquiries that the ceilings in our function rooms are not high enough to accommodate a rodeo bull or similar apparatus. However, if your equipment will fit in the function room and the provider has suitable insurance then you are welcome to bring any special forms of entertainment.

Do you have disabled facilities?

Yes. The Bailey Bar is on the ground floor and has its own disabled toilet. The Royal Suite is on the first floor and has it's own disabled toilet, and we have a passenger lift.

Can I decorate the room?

Yes. If you tell us where you want the tables in the room we will put them in the right places for you. Then you are welcome to decorate the tables, chairs and room as you wish. If you want to stick items to the walls you must use blue-tack NOT sticky tape or drawing pins.

Do I need to bring my own equipment for meetings/conferences?

We are able to provide any equipment we have available free of charge.

We can provide flipcharts, an OHP, and power extension cables in both of our function rooms.

The Royal Suite has a projector, screen and PA system built-in. To use the projector you would need to provide a suitable laptop and VGA cable, and PC Audio cable if you require sound.

For presentations in the Bailey Bar we can provide a portable screen. You would need to provide a laptop, projector and speakers (if audio is required) along with the appropriate cables for your equipment.
