The Rams Community Development team organised a Junior Training Day on Tuesday 15th August at the Tetley's Stadium for 40 children ranging from 7-12 years of age.

In the morning the kids were split into two groups of 20. One group was out on the field with Darren Rogers doing specific skills training including tackling bags, ball work and ladders, the other group was in the Rams Study Centre practising their logic and problem solving skills using various computer programs. The groups swapped round after an hour.

At dinner time the kids had a tour of the stadium including the sponsor's boxes, changing rooms and the newly equipped gym.

In the afternoon everybody went back out onto the pitch in two groups again, the first group did some tag drills, kicking and passing practise and we had a game of "Sharks & Fish". The other group worked with the Rams Study Centre staff doing some team building exercises with their parachute as well as some hand eye co-ordination drills.

To finish off the day everybody went up to the Royal Suite where we had a presentation of medals and certificates for all the kids who came along.

Below are some photos from the day.
